**R&D Senior Consultant** **Job Summary:** Experienced R&D professional sought to manage projects, engage with clients, and analyse complex information to determine eligibility for R&D Tax Credit Regime and grant incentives. BDO Ireland has senior consultancy positions available within our Research and Development ("R&D") Tax Credit and grant incentives group for suitably qualified computer science, engineering, or science professionals. The role provides an opportunity to work with technologically innovative companies across various sectors, managing projects and engaging with clients to determine the potential eligibility of their activities for R&D Tax Credit Regime and grant incentives. **Key Responsibilities:** • Examine client operations and processes to determine which qualify for R&D Tax Credit Regime and grant incentives • Develop methodologies to claim eligible activities and maximise incentives • Plan, organise, and execute technical portions of engagements, including interviewing technical and financial personnel • Assess R&D expenditures, time, and activities involved in projects • Prepare technical documentation required by legislation, Revenue Guidelines, and awarding bodies • Work with clients to develop systems and know-how to assist in making future claims **Requirements:** • Minimum 2-3 years' R&D experience in Computer Science, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, 2.1 result preferably • Knowledge of R&D tax credit regime or grant incentives beneficial but not essential • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills • Ability to quickly absorb and understand technical concepts and translate them into technical reports • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently and in a team environment **Benefits:** • Competitive salary • Travel allowance • Employee referral scheme • Pension scheme • Health benefits • On-site gym and café • Career progression opportunities • BDO Learning & Development programme
