**R&D Senior Consultant** **Job Summary:** Experienced R&D professional sought to manage projects and engage with clients to determine eligibility for R&D Tax Credit Regime and grant incentives. BDO Ireland has senior consultancy positions available within our Research and Development ("R&D") Tax Credit and grant incentives group for suitably qualified computer science, engineering, or science professionals. The role provides an opportunity to work with technologically innovative companies across various sectors. **Key Responsibilities:** • Examine client operations and processes to determine which qualify for R&D incentives • Develop methodologies to claim eligible activities and maximise incentives • Plan, organise, and execute technical portions of engagements, including interviewing technical and financial personnel • Assess R&D expenditures, time, and activities involved in projects • Prepare technical documentation required by legislation, Revenue Guidelines, and awarding bodies • Work with clients to develop systems and know-how to assist in making future claims **Requirements:** • Minimum 2-3 years' R&D experience in Computer Science, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, 2.1 result preferably • Knowledge of R&D tax credit regime or grant incentives beneficial but not essential • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills • Ability to quickly absorb and understand technical concepts and translate them into technical reports • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines • Advanced skills in MS Office environment (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook), familiarity with MS Office 365 suite advantageous **Benefits:** • Competitive salary • Travel green allowance voucher • Employee referral scheme • Pension scheme • Health mini health assessments • Digi Doc group health schemes • Life assurance • Cycle to work scheme • CSR, sports, and social, and wellness committees • On-site gym • Career progression opportunities • BDO Learning & Development programme • Leave together anywhere leave • Annual leave purchase scheme • Adoptive leave increase • Free breakfast every day • State-of-the-art office • Central location • On-site café • On-site complementary barista
