About the Role:
- Work with the RDA team to provide applied scientific support in a biotechnological fermentation system.
- Develop new and improved production processes, strains, and products through experimentation and analysis.
- Participate in project planning, experimental design, and daily operations of advanced bioreactor systems.
- Carry out testing, analysis, and reporting of experimental results to stakeholders.
- Maintain the smooth operation of the fermentation lab, including maintenance, hygiene, and quality control.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum MSc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- PhD and relevant internships are advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in microbial fermentation, industrial microbiology, and bioreactor operation is highly advantageous.
- Experience in protein and metabolite down streaming, biology, and analytical techniques is valuable.
- Competence in general microbiology laboratory practices, aseptic techniques, and writing technical documents is essential.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency with Excel or other data processing/visualization software.
- Experience with numerical techniques or programming languages is a plus.
- Experience working in collaborative and multi-cultural environments is a plus.
