Job Description
Scientist will work with the RDA team to develop new and improved production processes for existing products, new and improved production strains, or develop new products through research and experimentation.
This role involves providing applied scientific support within a biotechnological fermentation system, planning projects, and participating in the day-to-day operation of advanced bioreactor systems.
Key responsibilities include testing and analysis of experimental samples, processing and reporting results, and participating in R&D project meetings and reviews.
The scientist must have a strong background in microbiology, biotechnology or a related field, with hands-on experience in microbial fermentation and laboratory management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop new and improved production processes and strains through research and experimentation
* Provide applied scientific support within a biotechnological fermentation system
* Participate in the planning and execution of R&D projects
* Conduct testing and analysis of experimental samples
* Process and report results
**Requirements:**
* MSc in Microbiology, Biotechnology or related field
* Strong background in microbiology and laboratory management
* Hands-on experience in microbial fermentation and bioreactor operation
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* PhD in Microbiology, Biotechnology or related field
* Experience in protein and metabolite down streaming
* Competence in writing technical documents and proficiency in Excel or other data processing software
