Galway Production Equipment is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 85,000 products worldwide. We are currently recruiting for a Reception & Accounts Receivable Support candidate to work at our head office in Galway.
This role plays a critical part in managing our front desk and providing a supporting role to our busy Accounts Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls.
- Managing information and reception inbox.
- Sorting and distributing mail.
- Ordering office stationery and monitoring stock.
- Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning of electronic documents.
- Developing good business relationships with all staff, suppliers, visitors, and customers.
- Providing support to internal teams as required.
- Administering general office duties, greeting visitors, managing internal meeting rooms, and creating a welcoming environment in the office.
Accounts Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming bank and credit card payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Uploading portal invoices on customer portals.
- Reviewing, investigating, and resolving open customer returns.
- Sending out copy invoices, PODs, and statements as requested.
- Performing other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the accounts department.
Requirements:
- Good communication, organisational, and administration skills.
- Experience working with multinational organisations would be preferred.
- Competency in MS applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP experience desirable.
- Flexible and proactive attitude with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and desire to deliver first-class customer service and embrace new initiatives as they arise.
