Job Description

My Client are currently recruiting a receptionist/administrator for one of their busy showrooms in Sandyford, Dublin 18.


Reporting to the brand manager, you will be working front of house with the sales team, assisting all customers who contact the business by providing an exceptional level of personal and professional service.


Key duties and responsibilities to include:


m As showroom receptionist you will be the first welcoming point of contact to customers visiting the showroom or calling by phone.

m You will be meeting, greeting and assisting customers, introducing them to the most appropriate sales person, service or parts department

m Directing customers to the customer waiting area and offering refreshments

m Ensuring visitor areas and dealership are kept clean and tidy, maintaining the customer waiting areas

m You will be managing the switchboard, directing calls, taking messages and assisting with queries

m Providing general administrative support to the dealership, e.g. post, couriers, stationery, vehicle ownership/tax etc. maintaining logs/spreadsheets


The successful candidate will ideally:
m Have a customer service background.

m Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and on the phone

m Display a positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.

m Possess excellent administration and IT skills.

m Work well as part of a team.

m Be well presented at all times.

m Be available to work fulltime onsite 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

m Previous experience within the motor industry is desirable, but not essential.
