Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Manager to join our People and Culture team. The ideal candidate will excel as a strategic manager, leveraging data to build best practices and inform decision-making. They will have a keen eye for identifying outstanding individuals who can contribute to the success of Grön Confections and uphold our values and culture. The Recruitment Manager will be hands-on, supporting and overseeing the entire recruitment process, from talent sourcing, attracting candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews. Additionally, this role requires strong management capabilities to lead and develop the existing recruitment team, preparing them for future leadership roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and train team members, fostering their professional growth and preparing them for future management roles.
  • Create and implement development plans to enhance the skills and capabilities of the recruitment team.
  • Design and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates across all layers of the organization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop strategic hiring plans.
  • Prepare and present recruitment metrics and reports to senior management, identifying areas of improvement or necessary alterations in the demonstrated recruitment process.
  • Support the complete recruitment lifecycle, (review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and schedule interviews, offer state, negations, offer letter creation) while keeping the candidate experience in mind.
  • Develop and utilize effective assessment tools and techniques to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to identify and attract potential candidates.
  • Promote Grön Confections as an employer of choice by enhancing our employer brand through social media, career fairs, and other recruitment events.
  • Work with the People and Culture team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
  • Follow up with new employees during their probationary period to ensure a smooth transition and address any issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports and candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Green Leaf.
  • Other special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and tools, including ATS systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Cannabis, Manufacturing, or Food and Beverage industries.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).

Work environment:

This position is 90% remote, 10% travel requirements to existing facilities, Portland, Oregon HQ, or other recruitment events.

Physical demands:

This position requires working seated at a desk for prolonged periods
