Role: Refrigeration Engineer Salary: Competitive, based on experience, plus on-call allowance Duration: Full-time, permanent Location: Dublin (mainly) with some country work Benefits: Company van, phone, tablet, laptop, on-call allowance, company pension contribution, and subsistence allowance A thriving and ambitious company in the refrigeration industry is looking for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional seeking to work with a company that has ambitious growth plans and provides excellent career progression opportunities. The role is primarily based in Dublin but will involve occasional travel for country work. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with on-call duties one week in every six. Even if there are no callouts during the on-call week, an additional allowance will still be paid. Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in both commercial and industrial settings Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs in a timely and efficient manner Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime Working closely with customers to ensure that their refrigeration systems are fully operational and compliant with all regulations Managing your own workload and ensuring that all jobs are completed within the set timeframes Providing excellent customer service, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard Attending callouts when on-call (one week out of every six) Travelling to country locations as required, with the majority of work being Dublin-based Requirements: Proven experience as a refrigeration engineer, ideally within both commercial and industrial sectors Relevant qualifications in refrigeration engineering (F-Gas certification preferred) Strong diagnostic and repair skills with the ability to work independently Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Full, clean driving licence Flexibility to travel to different locations and participate in the on-call rota Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach What to do next: If youre interested in this role, click apply now.
