Working in partnership with food outlets and distribution companies up and down the Island of Ireland. it’s our aim to provide the highest quality produce in a format that helps operators bring people together over the food they love.   We are growing our team - and we are looking for a Regional Account Manager to manage our ever-growing McCain portfolio, working with our distributors, wholesalers and operators. Not only will it be your job to maintain and grow operators as well as distribution of the core existing McCain product range, but you’ll also look after volume sales, margin growth, and distribution of our new products.   Making great times, over great food, matters to us.  We’re Moment Makers.  We are McCain.  Reporting into the Field Sales Manager you’ll be a part of a successful team of Account Managers and it’s your job to manage and implement the Foodservice Strategy across an existing customer base to deliver profitable top line growth. You’ll also…  Have full P&L and forecasting responsibility for your portfolio of customers to achieve set targets (revenue/profit/volume). Engage with the McCain field sales team to help pull through McCain volume from your customer base, and drive depot engagement with the distributors’ telesales and field sales teams. Using tools including Salesforce, CRM and Internal Pipelines, identify and prioritise new business opportunities within on and off premise operators sized at 3-30 outlets within profit sector.   Manage both internal and external relationships, (joint business plans, implementing terms, promotional plans, range reviews). Create a structured approach to NPD sales growth within your customer base.  Support the leadership teams as necessary and assume additional responsibilities or project involvement as requested from time to time.  ABOUT YOU  This role is about building strong relationships and making great connections. It’s a given you’ll already be an Account Manager but you will also…  Be confident working with P&L  Experience of working in a premium branded environment  Good knowledge of the food industry – National & Regional distributors as well as national and regional end users/operator groups.  Demonstrate leadership with best-in class account management including preparation, presentation, customer experience and financial management.  A confident negotiator and influencer.  A winning attitude – someone who strives from success but also quick to learn  A full clean EU driving licence, and comfortable with driving to new places  WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?  You’ll be pleased to know we don’t pay you in ‘chips’.
