Job Description
Regional Manager for South Connacht region required to lead financial services delivery in Galway, Mayo, and Roscommon.
Experience in managing money advice, budgeting, debt management, insolvency, and financial services to diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Policy
- Contribute to national/regional strategy and develop regional service delivery plan with stakeholders.
- Review, develop, and implement national and regional policy for the organisation.

Corporate Governance
- Support the Board to implement good corporate governance through governance documentation and risk review assessments.
- Ensure financial checks and other controls are in place across the region.

Finance & Planning
- Responsible for finance and planning for the region, including management of regional budgets and reports.
- Implement cost centre planning process and draft the annual financial plan for the region.
- Oversee management of client monies in line with best practice and relevant legislation or regulation.

HR Management
- Support the HR function and ensure correct application of the organisation's policies and procedures.
- Assist in the recruitment of staff and attend staffing meetings as necessary.

Leadership & Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop staff.
- Provide direct management to Coordinators/Service Delivery Managers.
- Delegate decision making and authority to local management as appropriate.
Requirements
- Third level qualification in Management, Finance, Law, or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years' experience in a relevant management position.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of consumer debt, financial services, insolvency, money management, and education.
- Knowledge of money and debt advice.
- Experience in staff supervision, customer service, evaluation, and monitoring procedures.
