Job Description
Regional Manager (Financial Services) for South Connacht region required. Experience in managing money advice, budgeting, debt management, insolvency, or financial services to diverse clients. Based in Galway, Ballina, or Roscommon town.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Policy: Contribute to national/regional strategy, develop regional service delivery plan with stakeholders, review and implement national and regional policy.
Corporate Governance: Support Board with governance documentation, risk review assessments, financial checks.
Finance & Planning: Manage regional budgets, implement cost centre planning process, draft annual financial plan, oversee client monies, premises and facilities.
HR Management: Support HR, recruit staff, agree recruitment process.
Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, develop staff, provide direct management, delegate decision making.
Requirements:
Third level qualification in Management, Finance, Law or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience in relevant management position.
Comprehensive knowledge of consumer debt, financial services, insolvency, money management and education.
Knowledge of money and debt advice.
Experience in staff supervision, customer service, evaluation and monitoring procedures.
Willingness to work unsocial hours, attend evening and occasional weekend events.
