Regional Quality Control Lead - A leading role in delivering high-quality engineering projects nationwide.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Regional Quality Control Lead to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality engineering projects across the region. **Key Responsibilities:** • Lead by example in promoting a culture of ethics, EHS, cultural sensitivity, diversity, teamwork, quality culture, and behaviors. • Comply with all project EHS requirements, including PPE, work permits, procedures, etc. • Develop and support project-specific method statements where required. • Foster close working relationships with cross-functional departments, including supply chain and client stakeholders. • Understand Kirby values, Quality policy, and create a culture of "being proud of the projects we deliver" and "Right first time" amongst the team. • Establish and maintain close working relationships with cross-functional departments, including supply chain and client stakeholders. • Familiarize yourself with Quality contract requirements, deliverables, specifications, and scope of work. • Provide technical advice and support with respect to local, national, and European regulatory requirements. • Develop and implement inspection matrices for offsite and onsite inspections. • Develop and schedule specialist 3rd-party inspections to verify project compliance. • Review and ensure implementation of the Quality & LEAN Construction Policy. • Develop training needs analysis matrices (TNA) to identify quality training requirements for scope of work. • Build and maintain a core QC team and network to consistently support high-quality performance on site. • Manage the overall performance of project quality teams, setting clear and measurable objectives and monitoring performance. • Monitor KPIs on planned vs actual, checklist completion, issues/snags, room readiness, and system/area handover. • Measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement. **Desired Competencies:** • Willingness to travel • Data Centre experience preferred • Preferable from a trade's background or trades experience Kirby Group Engineering is an international multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor and leading provider of high-value engineering services to a number of 'blue chip' companies.
