Role Purpose Responsible for program consistency and providing specialist support and knowledge pertaining to the regions and business units of operations. Regional Quality Control Lead Responsibilities Lead by example in the areas of ethics, EHS, cultural sensitivity, diversity, teamwork, quality culture and behaviors. Comply with all Project EHS requirements i.e. PPE, work Permits, procedures, etc. Where required, support the development of project specific method statements. Understand Kirby values, Quality policy and create a culture of "being proud of the projects we deliver" & "Right first time" amongst the team. Establish close working relationships with cross functional departments (Planning, Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, EHS, etc.) including supply chain and client stakeholders. Familiarization with Quality contract requirements, deliverables, specifications, and scope of work. Support project pre-construction phase with Quality planning, resources, supply chain review and onboarding. Review requirements for registration with regulatory authorities and supply chain registration status. Provide technical advice and support with respect to local, municipality, national and/or European regulatory requirements. Review construction methodology for offsite manufacturing (OSM) capabilities and develop inspection matrix for offsite and onsite inspections. Review requirements for specialist 3rd party inspections and develop a schedule of inspections to verify project compliance. Understand all required Kirby Management System documentation (Processes and Procedures) ensuring that all project team members are conversant with their purpose and intent. Complete incremental Internal Audits to verify implementation of the QMS and the Quality Plan. Provide support and guidance with implementation of the Quality & LEAN Construction Policy Develop training needs analysis matrix (TNA) to identify quality training requirements for scope of work ensuring trained and competent personnel are conducting works. Build a core QC team and network to consistently support high quality performance on site. Conduct interviews for open QC positions within the business and support mobilization in line with project dates. Liaise and support operation managers / project managers to ensure adequate QC operational coverage to support projects turnover, start-up and room ready dates in line with schedule dates. Manage the overall performance of project quality team, setting clear and measurable objectives and monitoring performance. Support project QC team with training and development needs to promote growth within the business unit. Monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicators) on planned vs actual, checklist completion, issues / snags, room readiness and system/area handover. Measure supply chain performance showing positive trends and areas for opportunity to improve. Review project Quality plans and Inspection and Test plans to ensure project compliance. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the quality program and support improvement as required. Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and create suitable action plans to improve project performance (Snags, Checklists, Supply chain, Trends, Risk,etc.) Establish reward & recognition program to celebrate wins, achievements, success. Encourage engagement in capturing Lessons Learned on the project. Provide weekly & monthly reports on Quality Control Program performance.
