Your New Company As a Registered Architect you will be joining a consultancy in Cork that specialise in civil and structural engineering but also have an architectural function. They are well established in the Cork region and would be well known throughout the industry. Projects they have worked on in the past including health, industrial, commercial, residential and education. Your New Role As a Registered Architect our client is looking you to be able to display strong design knowledge, management of clients and contractors and be able to ensure that projects are within the Irish Building Regulations. The projects you will be working on will have a degree of complexity and you should be able to thrive and find enjoyment when finding unique solutions. You will be working in the office and occasionally also on sites collaborating with your civil and structural counterparts. This is a close team and you will be reporting directly to the director when it comes to progress on projects. The Requirements You should be an experienced Architect with at least 3/4 years in industry (post-registration) and have experience on Irish projects. Experience in practice, consultancy or another design focused role in construction will be considered. You should have a working understanding on project methodology, the design process, through to construction phases. You should have a good understanding of planning process and building control legislation applicable to the project type.
