Hours & Compensation
Permanent Full-Time | Monday to Friday Pay Rate: $28.92 per hour (based on current funding) Benefits: Extended Health and Dental Benefits | Registered Pension Plan (4.5% Employer contribution) | Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) | Paid Sick Time (based on accrual) | Life Insurance | Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
In this role, you will:
- Plan and implement a stimulating, developmentally appropriate play-based program for children and their families
- Work as part of a team of Childcare Workers and monitor the quality of the program
- Provide a warm and nurturing environment for children and families
- Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and coordinator
- Ensure the health and safety of the children
- Act as a positive role model for the children
Mandatory Qualifications
- Registered Early Childhood Educator Diploma
- College of Early Childhood Educators registration number
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check document
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
- Vaccine Verification - As a condition of employment, you are required to provide confirmation that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 or have proof of valid exemption satisfactory to the employer.
