Chatterwood Nursing Home has 35 beds and offers the highest standards of residential care for the elderly in Liss, Hampshire, on the grounds of our sister home Milkwood House.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
RGN qualification with an active NMC Pin
Experience in writing care plans
Experience in working in a care environment is preferred
Two references are needed
Responsibilities:
Ensure that clinical equipment is maintained in a safe, clean, and fully functional state.
Report any equipment failures or damage to the Manager.
Be responsible for the safe and appropriate management, administration and recording of medication.
Engage in positive working relationships with GP's, hospitals, and local agencies.
Be responsible for the admission of any new residents to the Home for assessment/evaluation.
Be aware of psychological changes in residents and report such to the Home Manager or Senior Nurse.
Be responsible for the custody and safe dispersal of all medication brought into the Home, by either residents or the pharmacist.
Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans.
Ensure that the care, welfare, and safety of all residents in the nursing home is of the highest possible standard, taking full responsibility for adherence to statutory regulations.
Be comfortable leading a team or working alone.
Ensure the safety and comfort of all residents, whilst encouraging a happy, homely atmosphere.
