Joining KPMG Ireland is an opportunity to enhance your career, not only in the work that you enjoy doing, but equally through the global connections that you make, the lifelong learning that you can accomplish and the chance to make your mark.Are you our next Regulatory Associate Director?Location: Dublin 1, as part of our hybrid working model.Grade: Associate DirectorContract type: PermA snapshot of your peer group:Our Regulatory Associate Directors typically have experience in core regulatory requirements including CRD/CRR, Recovery and Resolution and/or Operational Resilience;Experience working with Banks in the area of regulatory reporting;At least 10 years professional experience, including experience as a Regulatory professional;Understanding of regulatory rules and reporting requirements including Basel III, CRR/CRD, BRRD (Recovery and Resolution);Strong experience implementing the recovery and resolution regulations;Experience in analysis and submission of consolidated reports to regulators (CBI, ECB, JST) including Prudential (COREP, FINREP), LCR, NSFR, ALMM, STE, Pillar III and Ana Credit returns;Experience in performing risk identification and materiality assessments;Experience and understanding of regulatory reporting control frameworks and risk policies;Experience in systems and processes normally used in the compilation and submission of regulatory returns;Strong commercial acumen capable of identifying legal and commercial risk, taking ownership and seeing tasks through to successful completion;Capable of identifying risk improvements and contributing positively to policy and control implementations.Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:Actively contribute to, and lead on, regulatory reporting projects utilising your experience, SME knowledge, and the wider KPMG regulatory reporting network;Manage relationships with a broad range of clients on Regulatory Reporting matters;Take an active role in supporting the management of the Regulatory Reporting team, including the career development of junior members of the team;Play an active role developing new service propositions for clients;Participation in thought leadership and research activities, often collaborating with teams across the firm and our international network;Contribute to the development of the wider KPMG Risk and Regulatory function service proposition, including providing advice and assistance on client engagements and participation in team-wide initiatives.Your team:In Ireland we have over 250 Risk and Regulatory specialists who are supported by our wider global network to ensure multinational capability.
