Reliability Engineer role at PCI Pharma Services in Ireland, responsible for equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring.

This is a permanent role, primarily based in Dundalk, Monday to Friday, 100% on-site. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing current processes to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities for equipment reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, and condition monitoring.
  • Leading technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting issues related to manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Improving the consistency and reliability of batch change-over and machine setting activities using SMED principles.
  • Assisting the Project Engineering function with the transfer of new equipment from the validation to commercial phase of NPI projects.
  • Implementing a critical spares program based on OEM specifications, ongoing maintenance programs, and predictive maintenance.
  • Ensuring the calibration of all relevant engineering equipment is maintained appropriately.
  • Leading and supporting system improvements, development of detailed specifications, engineering documents, and standard operating procedures.
  • Solving complex problems, project management, equipment lifecycle management, and operational excellence.
  • Supporting a safe working environment by complying with all pertinent environmental health and safety practices, rules, and regulations.
  • Working with the Continuous Improvement team and Department Managers to deliver operational excellence within PCI Ireland, focusing on warehouse functions.
  • Designing, implementing, reviewing, and acting on critical KPIs for processing equipment.
