Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

Ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to
Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to high standard
Provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement
Collaborate with team to deliver customer expectations
Key responsibilities:
• Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment
• React quickly to breakdowns and communicate clearly with affected parties
• Support continuous improvement through feedback and suggestions
• Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers
• Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians
• Manage contractors and compliance tasks
• Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate required knowledge on Material Handling Equipment
Requirements:
• NFQ6 (Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Engineering) or Solace/Solas level 6 mechanical/Electrical or Mechatronics
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
• Experience fault finding within MHE/Automation systems
• Experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
• Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
• Experience of high voltage switching
• Experience of sortation machines
• Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners
• Experience in fault finding on building equipment
