Job Title: Relief Instructor 12 months Fixed term Contract, Variable hours Location: Raheen Business Park, Raheen, Limerick About the Role: The Relief Instructor provides training and support to learners, following the local training program. They help learners with additional needs explore career and education options, and guide them in making practical choices for further education or employment. What We're Looking For: Third level qualification, preferably within the Education/Training or Social Sciences sector, A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum. A number of years' relevant occupational experience of working with Learners in educational, guidance and/or developmental contexts. Experience in QQI certification and accreditation processes. Strong skills in facilitation, presentation, communication, and organization. You should be confident, able to work independently, motivate learners, and build relationships with stakeholders and local communities. The Instructor will be involved in coordinating and facilitating all activities related to the National Learning Network. Your Responsibilities: Deliver training modules for QQI Level 3-5 certification based on the program curriculum. Help participants develop skills and confidence to achieve their progression goals. Meet performance targets related to learner placement, progression, and certification achievements. Develop Individual Action Plans for each learner and support their vocational needs, sourcing work placements, and teaching proper work attitudes and behaviours. Work closely with National Learning Network management and cooperate with staff, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders like ETB to ensure smooth program operations.
