Northern Trust seeks a Senior Regulatory Assurance Specialist to join the Global Strategic Remediation Oversight and Governance team. The successful candidate will assist in designing and establishing the methodology and processes supporting validation of significant remediation quality control validation activities. Key responsibilities include demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills, establishing and developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the design and build of the strategic remediation quality control validation methodology and processes. Other key responsibilities include accurately designing and executing the quality control/validation approach for complex regulatory and significant internal audit issues, identifying and analyzing risks, and providing effective review and challenge of significant remediation deliverables to ensure quality of design, implementation and sustainability. The successful candidate will also be responsible for staying current on regulatory rules and changes within the industry, maintaining familiarization and technical expertise with the assigned business unit(s), and demonstrating excellent communication and leadership to influence a wide range of senior stakeholders.
