Renewables Engineering Summer Placements
Duration: 12 weeks, Full Time, Flexible First options available
Salary: £23,422 / €28,940 (ROI) pro rata + a range of other benefits
About the Role: SSE Renewables is seeking engineering students in the 3rd or 4th year of their studies with a real interest in renewable energy, innovation and sustainability to join our team for a 12-week summer placement.
- Work in a team focused on one of our technologies including solar and battery, hydro, onshore and offshore wind.
- Gain exposure to the day-to-day work of the engineers who plan, deliver and manage our renewable assets.
- Deliver meaningful work to your team, putting into practice the knowledge gained during your studies.
- Have the opportunity for site visits to our renewable energy projects.

Requirements: Currently studying for either a Bachelors or Masters degree in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Control and Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering (including aero-mechanical), Civil Engineering, Geosciences, Naval Architecture, Renewable Energy Engineering.
