Domestic Sales Executive

Drive growth in the domestic central heating sector through effective lead management and securing new domestic customers.

As a key member of the Calor team, you will develop relationships with key stakeholders, engage with customers, and coordinate the installation process to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

This challenging role requires an energetic and driven individual with well-developed interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
  • Manage, nurture, and sign new domestic customers from marketing and specifier generated leads.
  • Maintain a high conversion rate from lead to contract signed and first fill.
  • Sign contracts with customers, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly understood.
  • Conduct site visits and complete Tank Site and Access Reports to ensure compliant placement of storage tanks.
  • Work collaboratively with the Territory Development Manager and their network of key specifiers and installers within the assigned region.
  • Meet with customers to understand their energy needs and propose solutions by providing compelling value propositions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and Calor product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  • Coordinate the installation process by handing over contracts to the Home Energy Support Team.
  • Represent Calor in a professional manner, networking at events to promote the Calor brand and products.
  • Collaborate with the Home Energy Support Team and internal departments to ensure effective and seamless sales process and customer experience.
  • Utilise relevant IT systems for reporting/analysis as required by the role.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
  • Contribute to the Calor safety culture by adhering to relevant tank siting standards and acting in a safe and responsible manner.
  • This role will have elements of flexible working, including evening and weekend hours, and may require travel and overnight stays.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the specific requirements of the role.
  • A high level of energy, motivation, and drive to actively pursue leads, engage with customers, and drive sales.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Great attention to detail, safety conscious, and strong organisational skills.
  • Competent in IT and using new technology.
  • A full clean driving license.
