Domestic Sales Executive
Drive growth in the domestic central heating sector through effective lead management and securing new domestic customers.
As a key member of the Calor team, you will develop relationships with key stakeholders, engage with customers, and coordinate the installation process to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
This challenging role requires an energetic and driven individual with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Manage, nurture, and sign new domestic customers from marketing and specifier generated leads.
- Maintain a high conversion rate from lead to contract signed and first fill.
- Sign contracts with customers, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly understood.
- Conduct site visits and complete Tank Site and Access Reports to ensure compliant placement of storage tanks.
- Work collaboratively with the Territory Development Manager and their network of key specifiers and installers within the assigned region.
- Meet with customers to understand their energy needs and propose solutions by providing compelling value propositions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and Calor product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
- Coordinate the installation process by handing over contracts to the Home Energy Support Team.
- Represent Calor in a professional manner, networking at events to promote the Calor brand and products.
- Collaborate with the Home Energy Support Team and internal departments to ensure effective and seamless sales process and customer experience.
- Utilise relevant IT systems for reporting/analysis as required by the role.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
- Contribute to the Calor safety culture by adhering to relevant tank siting standards and acting in a safe and responsible manner.
- This role will have elements of flexible working, including evening and weekend hours, and may require travel and overnight stays.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the specific requirements of the role.
- A high level of energy, motivation, and drive to actively pursue leads, engage with customers, and drive sales.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Great attention to detail, safety conscious, and strong organisational skills.
- Competent in IT and using new technology.
- A full clean driving license.
