Job description What you need to know Our client who are based inCo. Offalyand have a long-established entity in the Midlands region are seeking aRES Maintenance Managerto join their team. The is apermanentposition, working week Monday Friday from 9:00am 5:30pm. The RES Maintenance Manager will report to theRES Asset Manager. Your new job Key Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the RES manager in overseeing renewable energy projects and managing operational controls. Plan, define, and coordinate maintenance activities for substations and wind turbines. Oversee procurement processes to ensure assets are available within budget and manage the maintenance management system. Supervise maintenance technicians and collaborate with plant teams to achieve objectives. Schedule substation maintenance during outages, ensuring the team meets safety, cost, and environmental targets. Support turbine maintenance and inspections. Prepare monthly updates on renewable energy projects. Help implement business management systems and support HR functions and development within the plant. Liaise with the electricity supply authority regarding maintenance outages and supply reliability. Participate in the training and management of wind farm technicians. Develop safety documentation, permits, and procedures for wind farm operations, ensuring adherence to wind turbine safety regulations. Promote a culture of health and safety, ensuring compliance with safe work practices. Lead and manage direct reports, engaging in performance management to meet individual and team objectives. What are we looking for? Level 6 engineering qualification, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Completed electrical apprenticeship and wind turbine authorised technician certification. Senior authorised person for high voltage switching. Trained in Telemess and wind turbine safety rules.
