Job Description
The Research Registrar position in Cognitive Neurology is a collaborative research program between the Cognitive Clinic in St. James' Hospital and the Neurovascular Genetic Laboratory in Trinity College Dublin. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to:
- Complete a supervised Translational Research Project
- Pursue a postgraduate degree, MSc in Clinical Neurosciences/Clinical Medicine at TCD, with potential to transfer to a Ph.D.
- Receive subspecialty training in Cognitive Neurology under the supervision of Prof. Siobhan Hutchinson
The Research Registrar will be part of a dynamic team and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and a passion for research and clinical medicine.
Requirements
- Possess MRCPI/MRCP or equivalent by July 2022
- Eligible for registration with the Irish Medical Council
- Committed to a career in Neurology, Older Adult/Geriatric Medicine, or Psychiatry
