Job Description
We are seeking a talented Research Synthetic Chemist for our client, a Medical Device company, operating a fully certified manufacturing / packaging Class 100 Aseptic fill facility. You will be responsible to look after the day to day running of the laboratory duties including quality control testing, development of new materials and manufacturing. You will be responsible for the batch manufacture on scales of 10-60 Kg using state of the art pilot reactors and are expected to maintain the laboratory in accordance with the ISO procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Manufacture of medical acrylic monomers for use in the medical devices, cosmetic and veterinarian markets. QC control testing of the materials to ISO standards. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Degree / PhD in chemistry or higher. Good working knowledge of the following analytical equipment; GC, FTIR, UV/Vis. Knowledge of ISO, calibration and good laboratory practice. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, including entry-level, 2 to 3 years, 3 to 5 years, and 5+ years.
