We are seeking to recruit a Resident Engineer (Electrical) with 7+ years of relevant experience in Site Supervision activities to be based in the North-West region of Ireland. Candidates will be seconded into a client's office/site to work on a number of capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors. Candidates with suitable experience and interest in similar positions elsewhere nationally can also apply and will be considered for future positions if/when they arise. Desirable Skills/Attributes: Experience in administering Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC. Knowledge and Awareness of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations. Chartered Engineer. Managing Safely in Construction Training. Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible. Willing to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team. An excellent communicator, written and verbal in English. Responsibilities: Specializing in Electrical elements of the works. Driving delivery of projects on site on behalf of Uisce Éireann with a focus on health & safety, timely delivery, cost management, and quality standards. Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with contract documents. Monitoring and reporting on works being carried out. Implementing safety policies and standards on construction projects. Reviewing and commenting on project/site specific HSQE documentation. Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. Reporting and assisting with accident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
