Residential Centre Manager - For Older Persons - (Permanent Full Time) Location: Donegal Salary range: €56,185 Experience: Experience in a leadership/management role in services for older persons for a minimum of 6 years is essential Closing date: Fri, 11 Oct 2024 Description: The Role: Residential Centre Manager - For Older Persons - Bundoran We are currently looking to recruit a Residential Centre Manager - for Older Persons to join our Specialist Service team in Bundoran. The post holder will have responsibility to lead and manage the delivery and ongoing development of an assisted living residential service to older persons in the community in conjunction with the SVP members and volunteers. This is a great opportunity to join a large close knit team in one of Ireland's largest voluntary organisations and make a difference in your community. Candidate Requirements: A third level qualification at Level 7 NQF or Higher in one or more of the following disciplines - Social Care, Social Work, Social Studies, Care of the Elderly, Healthcare, or other relevant discipline, with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience working in a leadership/management role in services for older persons is essential. OR Experience in a leadership/management role in services for older persons for a minimum of 6 years is essential. A knowledge of relevant policy and best practice issues pertaining to older persons, person centred care and of the key agencies who work on behalf of older persons is essential. Experience working directly with older persons or this age group in general in a support and/or residential setting. Experience of leading a team is essential.
