Cork About the Role: The Resource Teacher works as part of a team to support Service Users with remedial education, focusing on areas like literacy and numeracy. The role also includes providing basic computer training when needed. What We're Looking For: A teaching degree, Higher Diploma (H Dip), or equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Education, with registration with the Teaching Council. Experience in providing literacy and/or numeracy training. Experience working with people with different abilities. Strong IT skills required. Your Responsibilities: Provide basic remedial and compensatory education to meet the individual needs of each service user. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to identify service user needs and plan personalized rehabilitation programs. Teach and train service users based on their Individual Action Plan, with support from the Manager. Maintain accurate records of service user progress and meet certification requirements, producing reports when needed. Keep all teaching materials and equipment up to date and of high quality. Additional Requirements: Empathetic to Service Users Build external relationships If applicable, candidates will need to provide a police certificate for any country they've lived in before moving to Ireland A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign. Salary: Starting at €35650 per annum pro-rata, equivalent to €22.85 per hour.
