Restaurant Manager sought for Michelin Plate awarded Carriage House at Adare Manor, a luxurious resort with a relaxed environment and a team that prides itself on creating genuine heartfelt service.
We are seeking a candidate who will work in collaboration with the leadership team to enhance the guest service we deliver with a strong floor presence and welcoming approach. As Restaurant Manager in The Carriage House, your main responsibilities will be:
- Deliver superior service and maximise guest engagement
- Gather guests' feedback, resolve guest issues and recommend improvements
- Organise and supervise shifts
- Remain hands on throughout the entire shift and assist as needed
- Hold the team accountable to our standards while remaining hands on and leading by example
- Ensure the team is well educated on the menu items
- Control operational costs and identify measures to minimise waste
- Train new and current team members on the agreed sequence of service
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
Successful candidates for this role will have:
- Experience within a similar role
- A strong leadership presence and a proactive hands-on role in engaging with guests and supporting colleagues
- An inspirational leadership style that creates highly energised teams to provide world-class service
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- The ability to work in a pressured environment with high-expectation guests
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage
- Commercial acumen and solid financial awareness
