Retail Area Manager - Co. Cork Excel Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Area Manager for our client in Co. Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to lead multiple stores within the region, driving sales, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Salary: €55k - €60k Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of multiple locations within the Cork area. Lead, mentor, and develop store managers to ensure the highest standards of performance. Drive sales growth and profitability across the stores by implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance, and making data-driven decisions. Ensure all stores adhere to company standards in terms of merchandising, stock levels, health & safety, and customer service. Focus on delivering exceptional customer service across all stores, responding to customer feedback, and continuously improving the shopping experience. Identify training needs, provide coaching, and support the professional development of store teams. Promote a positive working environment and encourage teamwork. Manage budgets, analyse financial reports, and ensure all stores meet their financial targets. Ensure all stores comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Requirements: Experience in a similar role within the retail industry. Proven track record of managing multiple locations. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive high-performing teams. Demonstrated ability to increase sales and profitability through effective management and strategic initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
