Support the Musgrave Business Services Retail team in all areas of cash support & administration for retail stores.

- Main responsibility of this role is to support cash controls for 40+ stores within the NI division
- Processing/posting and review of cash journals
- Cash office support
- Daily lodgement reconciliation
- Identify and assess risks in relation to cash control across the business
- Support continuous improvement in cash controls
- Act as a point of contact for store queries
- Store Debtor reconciliations
- Store balance sheet reconciliations for cash, coupons, gift cards etc.
Support the roll out of MS BC automation to NI stores including process documentation, systems user testing, end user training
- Support the MBS Retail team administration
- Preparation of routine daily/weekly reports & reconciliations
- Report generation & review
- General administration duties
- Accounts preparation for owned stores across 3 divisions
- Support interim & year end audits in accordance with tight deadlines acting as a point of contact for auditor queries
Other Ad Hoc duties on request
Requirements:
- Experience of working within a retail store cash office or Head Office cash control function is an advantage
- Preferably studying for Accounting Technician or Professional exams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with respect to large data sets
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to demonstrate experience in working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to agreed deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business
- Ambitious self-starter with positive attitude
- Ability to demonstrate strong initiative and an achievement orientated approach to results
- Use of MS Business Central financial systems
- Experience in presenting/colleague training
