A valued client is looking to expand its Design Team and is looking for a Retail Designer. This role will expose the successful candidate to all areas of the business and allow them to take lead in projects from design to conception. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Play a key part in projects from conception to completion Work closely with sales representatives to satisfy clients brief Preparation of presentations, sample boards and product sourcing Space planning and retail floor plans in CAD 3D visualisation of retail interiors and fixtures Interpret Building Regulations and gain full understanding of the technical aspects Be a point of contact with Clients and authorities for fit-out approval. Coordinate Fire Cert & DAC requirements where applicable. Working in conjunction with suppliers and contractors Attending client and site meetings Prepare and deliver on time and ensures that all design delivery information is robust and accurate Able to prepare viable production information / estimates can understand clients needs and how these can be met in the most cost efficient and effective manner Coordinate/produce strategic project plans walkways, sightlines, fixture zones, signage, lightboxes, liaison and interfaces with other projects Review design proposals, make suggestions/recommendations where deemed necessary Adhere to current health and safety standards IDEAL CANDIDATE Relevant qualification in design or related discipline Strong knowledge of building regulations and standards AutoCAD is essential Photoshop knowledge desirable Knowledge of BIM modelling and Revit or similar Experience with 3D design and drawings Skills: 3D rendering Autocad Revit Benefits: Annual Bonus / 13th Cheque bike to work Pension
