Retail Operations Manager - Carlow Our client, a leading lifestyle retailer with multiple locations are seeking to hire a Retail Operations Manager to be a member of the senior management team. reporting to the CEO, duties will include; Responsibilities The role contributes to the annual budgeting process. You will take ownership of certain areas within the P&L and have responsibility for driving those Applying pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining sales promotion requirements, authorising clearance sales, studying trends Loss Prevention including maintaining stock accuracy and overseeing cycle counting on a regular basis Ensuring brand values and standards are adhered to at all times Day-to-day staff deployment The maintenance of the building, its systems and the whole facility Enhancing the customer experience, and encouraging customers to return through support for events and the loyalty programme Working within the values of the business Ensuring the company retail standards are adhered to throughout the store Communicating consistently and accurately with Warehouse, EPOS, Purchasing Support, Finance and Marketing Leading and developing the managers reporting to you Supporting managers in recruiting, selecting, inducting and training employees Enhancing managers' performance by coaching, counselling, disciplining, planning, monitoring and appraising job results Ensuring managers achieve targeted levels of sales per square metre, margin and stock turn Protecting employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment Maintaining the stability and reputation of the band by complying with all legal requirements Implementing operational and personnel policies and procedures Key Tasks Report to the Executive Team four times per year on commercial performance and action plans Ensure correct staffing levels to maintain high levels of customer service within operational budget constraints Analyse reports on KPIs with managers to challenge performance and agree on actions to improve Make the work environment happy and positive Liaise with managers of departments to create synergy and collaboration within the store depending on demands and circumstances Meet appropriate Directors weekly to update on performance against targets Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within a retail environment is essential 5+ years management experience Multi-Site Management: Experience overseeing operations across multiple retail locations. Customer Engagement: Proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
