Retail Operations Manager - Carlow Our client, an award-winning lifestyle retailer, known for delivering an outstanding in-store and online experience, a wide array of home, garden and outdoor living products plus an inspirational display of great ideas and gifts is seeking to recruit a Senior Retail Operations Manager to join the team. The Role We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Retail Operations Manager to join the senior management team. Reporting into the CEO, this role is based in their flagship location in County Carlow, that requires leadership across all three sites. The role is pivotal in maintaining operational excellence, improving customer experience, and driving the growth of the business. Key Responsibilities Budgeting & P&L Ownership: Contribute to the annual budgeting process and take ownership of specific areas within the P&L, driving performance and profitability. Sales & Merchandising: Implement sales strategies, oversee merchandising activities, manage pricing policies, and drive sales promotions. Loss Prevention: Maintain stock accuracy, oversee cycle counting, and prevent losses. Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a large team of managers, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Customer Experience: Enhance the in-store experience through support for events and loyalty programs, ensuring customer satisfaction. Store Standards: Uphold our clients high standards in every aspect of store operations, from brand values to staff deployment and building maintenance. Cross-Department Communication: Ensure clear communication with departments including Warehouse, EPOS, Finance, and Marketing. Talent Development: Support managers in recruitment, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Performance Reporting: Report to the Executive Team on commercial performance and action plans four times a year. Staffing & Service: Ensure optimal staffing levels to deliver excellent customer service while adhering to budget constraints. KPI Management: Analyse key performance indicators with managers to drive improvement. Operational Collaboration: Liaise with department managers to ensure seamless operations across the store.
