Aramark are currently seeking a retail assistant to join our extremely successful team on our client site in Mayo.
Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the food preparation and service in line with HACCP/Food Hygiene policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained in your work area and associated areas, as directed.
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple roles as required, and use initiative as needed: have good organizational skills and work consistently with attention to detail.
- Be willing to work on the tills, coffee stations, food service counters or floor as required, and be welcoming and helpful to all customers using our services.
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries as required.
- Carry out any tasks required in preparing and serving food and beverages and always maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Observes infection control and HACCP policies in food handling storage and ensure that all the necessary information is recorded accurately.
- Know and follow fire and disaster plans and reporting injuries policies.
- Ensure the correct manual handling procedures are adhered to when lifting or moving anything while working.
- Comply with and adhere to all Aramark & Hospital policies and procedures.
- To observe Aramark & the hospital's confidentiality policy.
- Complete other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.

- Previous experience in retail or other relevant roles
- Customer orientated with great communication skills
