Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at our Piltown store in Co. Kilkenny. This is a permanent, part-time position (4 days per week) that offers the opportunity to develop your retail and people management skills. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a sales culture, ensuring store standards are maintained, and working towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a sales culture and drive team members to achieve and exceed store targets
  • Maintain store standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the Area Manager to achieve agreed-upon objectives and drive business growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer care and drive sales growth
  • Motivate and develop your team, providing regular feedback and coaching
  • Ensure all company guidelines, procedures, and policies are implemented and adhered to
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Welfare legislation

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work towards achieving KPIs and drive business growth
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and passionate about improving the business
  • Professional conduct and appearance
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous pharmacy or retail management experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience is essential
