Morgan McKinley are recruiting for a Retail Team Lead based in Galway City. The primary role will be to lead a team of retail sales specialists on the shop floor in day to day sales and enquiries, in a customer facing role. Salary: €40,000 to €48,000 (Negotiable - Depending on Experience) Pension Healthcare Hours: 08.30am - 17.30pm Mon-Fri, 08.30am to 14.00pm Saturdays (Twice a month) Closure for bank holidays and Christmas. The Retail Team Lead is an integral part of the business where their teams expertise and knowledge is called upon to solve problems and procure/supply product for customers needs. These customers include many of the local industries and manufacturing plants, Co. Councils, trades people, builders, engineering companies, etc. Responsibilities And Duties Implement sales strategies and lead the sales team Dealing with telephone, e-mail & internet enquiries. Doing quotations and following up on same. Building strong working relationships with customers in order to understand their requirements. Maintaining a well merchandised Store / Shop area. Assisting with stock management. Liaising with the warehouse and office staff to help fulfill incoming orders. Dealing with other requests to support the busy operation as and when required. Following company policies and procedures from an operational and health and safety perspective. Qualifications & Skills Technical background/experience of working in Trades/Agriculture/Building/Safety/DIY or similar role is desirable Sales driven attitude Supervisory experience Excellent Customer Service skills. Fluent written and spoken English essential. Be computer literate. Become part of the highly motivated team already in place.
