Seeking a Rigid Driver with HGV licence and ADR certification to provide safe and professional delivery services in the chemical industry.
Our client, a wholly owned Irish company, requires a Rigid Driver to join their team at their Shannon facility. The ideal candidate will report to the Customer Service Manager and hold a current HGV licence, ADR certificate, and relevant CPC certificates. The candidate will be customer service-focused, motivated, and enthusiastic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and professional delivery services to customers in accordance with company procedures.
- Promote the company's services and products at all times.
- Drive vehicles in a courteous and safe manner, adhering to road legislation and company policies.
- Report vehicle defects and any spillage immediately.
- Load and unload vehicles safely, verifying against delivery dockets.
- Deliver products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complete daily vehicle checklists and maintain accurate records.
- Read and follow the Company Drivers Manual guidelines.
- Complete detailed written incident reports.
Essential Requirements:
- Current HGV licence and relevant CPC certificates.
- ADR certification (training provided if required).
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries and the chemical industry.
