Job Description Summary: Join St. Canices Credit Union as a Risk Analyst, assisting the Head of Risk in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all areas of the credit union.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying risks and assessing controls in the credit union.
- Identify gaps in assessments and implement improvements with risk owners.
- Report risks close to tolerance to the Head of Risk and Risk Owner.
- Ensure the credit union operates within its risk appetite.
- Manage risk mitigation plans and risk register.
- Prepare and present risk assessments.
- Develop a risk aware culture.
- Engage with external stakeholders and provide risk advice.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications with a commitment to further studies.
- Experience in a risk function in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High accuracy, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
