Job Summary: Road Logistics Forwarder responsible for providing solutions to customers, ensuring quality standards, and developing relationships with customers and partners.
This role is based in the Road Logistics department, reporting into the Dublin Road Logistics Manager. The successful candidate will be a key player in the Road team, working on their own initiative to offer solutions in a timely and efficient manner to the end customer.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring retention and growth.
- Proactively participate in providing a quality operational performance, liaising with overseas partners and ensuring the department operates to "Best in Class" quality standards.
- Manage day-to-day operations in a busy office environment, including dealing with customers, customs clearance, invoicing, creditors, and other reports and administration duties.
- Plan, transport, and distribute trailers within Ireland and Europe, ensuring compliance with company health & safety and GDP Pharma Guidelines.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the role, ensuring full ownership and delivering excellence in quality and customer service.
- Manage performance via Key Performance Indicators, proactively looking for continuous improvement within the department.
- Promote KN positively with customers through high-quality work, excellent communication, proactive approach, and positive attitude.
- Support other operations by having flexibility around working in different locations.
- Respond to all queries in a timely manner with accurate and complete information.
