ECCE Room Leader sought for a dynamic and enthusiastic team in a childcare setting.
Williamstown Community Childcare Centre is recruiting a Room Leader to join their team in Farronshoneen, Ardkeen Business Park, Waterford.
The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring the health and safety of children in their care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and a positive, professional approach to childcare.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Assistant Childcare Manager with daily duties, programs, observations, and administration tasks
- Creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that promotes trust, security, and confidence in children
- Planning and implementing play-based, child-led activities that adhere to the guiding principles of Siolta and Aistear
- Recording children's progress and maintaining accurate records
Essential qualifications and experience include:
- Level 8 qualification in Early Childhood
- Valid First Aid Certificate and Children's First Training
- Minimum of one year's post-qualification experience as a Childcare Room Leader
