**Job Summary:** Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead clinical practice and service quality as a Clinical Site Manager in a healthcare setting, promoting evidence-based decision making and patient-focused care. **Job Description:** The Clinical Site Manager is a pivotal role in service planning and development, co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The post holder will provide professional and managerial leadership, encouraging staff to develop clinical expertise for the benefit of patients, staff, and users of the service. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide safe, comprehensive nursing leadership within the guidelines laid out by An Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann * Ensure that opportunities exist for the development of nursing practice, which reflects current research and best practice, which is patient focused and cost effective * Manage, monitor, and evaluate professional and clinical standards ensuring an evidence-based care planning approach in conjunction with the operational ADONs * Facilitate the co-ordination, cooperation and liaison across health care teams and services in the best interests of quality patient care * Participate and cooperate with legislative and regulatory requirements regarding Quality, Risk and Safety * Participate and cooperate with external agencies on safety initiatives as required * Participate and cooperate with internal and external evaluations of hospital structures, services and processes as required **Requirements:** * Registered in the General Register of Nurses kept Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann (Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland) * At least 5 years post registration nursing experience * Adequate knowledge of Gerontological nursing in a residential setting that is HIQA compliant * Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level * Clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role **Terms and Conditions:** * Part-time on a specified purpose basis * Pensionable * Remuneration in accordance with the salary scale approved by the Department of Health * Working week: 26.5 hours on a rostered basis * HSE Circular 003-2009 Matching Working Patterns to Service Needs (Extended Working Day/Week Arrangements) applies
