Safeguarding, Risk and Compliance Manager- Disability Residential Setting - Kildare - €51,000-€66,000 Job Opportunity: Permanent full time Location: Dunshane, Kildare Hours: 40 hrs per week (08:30-5pm Monday-Friday) Are you a dedicated Safeguarding, Risk and Compliance Manager who has experience in working in the healthcare sector? This service is a residential disability service that provides full time care to vulnerable adults with both intellectual and physical disabilities nationwide. Person Specification: Qualifications and experience: A minimum of a Level 7 Degree on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies, Social Care Work, Health, ID Nursing or equivalent relevant qualification in a relevant professional discipline. 3 - 5 years proven experience in a compliance management role Candidates with a post graduate qualification in Quality Management will be viewed with a distinct advantage. Demonstrative experience in auditing using quality systems Robust knowledge of HIQA regulations and all legislative compliance requirements Comprehensive experience of Risk Management & Health and Safety in a social care setting Significant relevant experience in the area of quality and safety & service development in a social care setting Detailed understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services. Experience in management of regulated residential services for people with disabilities and ability to apply knowledge of best practice Experience and ability to use and analyse data in to support of effective decision making and monitoring of progress against service delivery targets. Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability for the proper discharge of the duties of office) Effective supervision and line management skills Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams. Knowledge of specialist quality systems A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement Experience in the Not-for-Profit / Charity Sector and/or Section 38/39 organisations Candidates must possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
