Sales Assistant/ Cashier - Swords Are you a retailer with a love for exceptional customer service? Do you have an interest in interior design? If so this may be the role for you! Our client, a major retailer of paint and wallpaper, is looking for a Sales Consultant to join one of Dublin City's oldest and most well-known retail establishments. They are known for having the best product knowledge in the industry and provides products of the highest quality. *Must be flexible, required to work on Saturdays. This opportunity will be about 39 hours per week* Responsibilities of this Sales Assistant / Cashier job: Welcome customers warmly, manage phone inquiries, and direct requests to the right person. Offer excellent customer service by understanding needs, providing product information, and enhancing sales opportunities. Keep the counter area and shelves clean and well-stocked. Process payments, handle returns, and ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately. Collaborate with store staff for product inquiries and price checks. Support store maintenance, merchandising, and stock-taking. Skills Required for this Sales Assistant / Cashier job: Passion for interiors is desired. Proven experience in retail with a strong focus on driving sales. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and friendly attitude. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency with EPOS systems. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
