Sales & Business Development Manager (CRM) | Permanent | | Dublin| Hybrid Our client is a specialist alternative asset manager providing tailored investment solutions, across various alternative investment strategies. Theirexpertise spans strategic public and private equity, timber, renewable energy, housing, and infrastructure. They focus on delivering sustainable financial returns and building long-term partnerships with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Reporting to The Head of Private Clients, The CRM will work within the Client Relationship team, responsible for offering investment solutions to high-net-worth clients, corporates, and the charity sector. Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Client Acquisition: Develop and execute a comprehensive client acquisition plan to meet and exceed business targets. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with professional service firms (tax, law & accounting). Focus on high-net-worth individuals and other key private client segments, including personal, corporate, and charity sectors. Sales and Pitching: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to prospects, showcasing the firm's investment strategies and capabilities. Collaborate with the investment team to tailor solutions based on client needs and market conditions. Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build a robust professional network. Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through various stages of the internal sales process system. Expand the Existing Book: Deliver high-quality financial advice to existing customers, maximizing value for clients and negotiating the best commercial outcome for both clients and the organization. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services, treating clients fairly and equally at all times. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards to avoid exposing the business to undue risk. This includes compliance with policies and procedures related to: Customer sales process, suitability, and risk profile Anti-money laundering onboarding requirements and ongoing customer due diligence Adherence to the suspicious transaction process Internal Relationship Management: Joint responsibility with other CRMs and internal colleagues for the end-to-end client experience, profitability, and satisfaction. Requirements 7-10 years in a senior client relationship role within financial services, preferably funds, asset management, or wealth management (private banking) Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field Relevant professional qualification (e.g., QFA,CFA, CFP, or CAIA) Strong and successful direct business development track record Experience presenting to clients and delivering RFPs Excellent working knowledge of the Irish and UK Investment Industry, markets, and investment management techniques Strong technical product and investment skills for effective dialogue with consultants, analysts, and clients Knowledge of the regulatory environment within which the company operates Entrepreneurial spirit combined with a collegiate approach Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
