Sales Director – FMCG (Hybrid)About the RoleConnexus Recruit is proud to partner with a leading premium brand-building company in the FMCG industry to find a highly skilled and ambitious Sales Director. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic senior leadership team and drive the growth of some of the most exciting and fast-growing brands in the Republic of Ireland. This role offers a high level of responsibility, including strategic leadership of sales across multiple key channels, including On-Trade, Off-Trade, and Out of Home.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Sales Director, you will:Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams, ensuring their long-term success.Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed volume and value targets.Foster strong relationships with key customers and partners, helping to drive business growth.Manage the sales department efficiently within the agreed budget.Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and Marketing teams to align on sales strategies and market opportunities.Identify market trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead of competitors and customer expectations.Lead the development of strategic channel plans to drive profitability and increase market presence.Play an active role in shaping the company’s growth by securing strong customer relationships and driving sales initiatives.RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with:5+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the FMCG sector.Proven ability to manage and develop large sales teams.Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to drive both short-term and long-term growth.Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a strong focus on customer success.Experience in managing budgets and delivering on sales and profitability targets.A resilient, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A creative and innovative approach to driving brand success in competitive markets.Flexibility to travel as needed to support sales initiatives and customer engagement.What’s on OfferThis is a hybrid role, based in Dublin with flexibility to work from home part of the time.
