Job Title: Sales Director Salary: Negotiable Location: Manchester, Northampton or Dublin – Travel required. Reporting to: COO We are on the lookout for a Sales Director to join CBTax and take ownership of our sales function. This role will have you work closely with our C-suite Executives ensuring our sales strategies are aligned with our business goals. To be successful in this role you will ideally come from a Senior Management, Associate Director or Director level position and have a passion for sales and a desire to lead and nurture teams. It is imperative you can build sales strategies and ensure targets are hit. Coming from an R&D Tax background would be highly advantageous. We will also consider applications from those with an accounting and/or financial/professional services background. A Day in the Life of a Director at CBTax: As a Sales Director at CBTax, you’ll inspire and guide your sales team, setting the tone and displaying strong leadership. You’ll review performance metrics, ensuring the team is on track to meet targets, and strategise ways to drive sales initiatives. Building and nurturing strong relationships with the sales teams is a key part of your role. You’ll spend time cultivating a collaborative and motivating environment, ensuring everyone is aligned with the company’s goals. Regular check-ins with the team help maintain momentum and keep everyone focused on achieving results. A big focus will be around planning & working closely with the Delivery Director, Operations Director and C-suite Executives. Together, you’ll develop and refine sales strategies that align with CBTax’s overarching business objectives. Client portfolio management is huge. Building out and overseeing the sales portfolio is key to this role. This requires a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, ensuring that all aspects of the portfolio are optimised for success. Your role demands a balance of hands-on leadership and strategic oversight, making every day both challenging and rewarding. Training and development take centre stage here at CBTax. Whether it’s onboarding new starters or providing ongoing training and guidance to existing staff, you’ll be at the forefront of empowering your team with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
