Job Description
Experienced Sales & Event Executive sought for a well-established client in County Kerry, promoting the company nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the director of sales & marketing in promoting the company both nationally and internationally.
- Identify and qualify new leads and opportunities for the Business by arranging meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase the facilities.
- Undertake proactive sales calls/activities via email, in person or online with clients as outlined and planned within the Sales & Marketing Plan.
- Promote and generate new business for transient, group, meetings & functions.
- Represent the Business at networking/industry events when required.
- Manage and co-host client events in conjunction with sales team.
- Database management with focus on growing & segmenting contacts for better communication.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and revenue generated.
- Prepare and present customized event proposals and quotations.
- Ensure all client requirements are met and accurately documented.
- Collaborate with the hotel's event and operational teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ Years experience in a similar role with a focus on Hospitality Sales & Event Promotion.
- Presentable and sociable individual with a positive attitude and high level of discipline.
- Strong personality and excellent communication skills (oral & written).
- Ability to maintain and develop customer relations.
- Ability to manage and work within a team as well as on your own initiative.
Package on Offer:
- Competitive salary from €35K to €40K per year dependent on experience.
