Job Description
Seeking a sales executive to assist with sales and account management of a growing client base in the audio-visual industry.
Our well-known client works within the audio-visual industry and is expanding their team. They require a sales executive to collaborate with clients, develop comprehensive tender templates, and grow relationships with current clients to expand business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with clients to understand their AV needs and objectives.
- Developing comprehensive tender templates.
- Growing and developing relationships with current clients to expand business.
- Selecting appropriate audio, video, and control equipment for each project, creating detailed technical documentation and project plans.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, installation, and project management.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Bid and Tender Writing:
- Create, write, and edit comprehensive bids and tenders for security contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate, persuasive, and tailored to the client's requirements.
- Conduct thorough research to gather information on potential clients, competitors, and industry trends to inform bid strategy.
- Develop and maintain a library of pre-written content, case studies, and other relevant materials to streamline the bid process.
- Work closely with internal teams, operations, finance, and legal, to gather necessary information and ensure all aspects of the bid are covered.
- Manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring timely submission of all documents and coordinating with internal teams to meet deadlines and client requirements.
- Review and proofread all bid documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards and client specifications.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field. Professional certification in bid and proposal management is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the AV sales industry, preferably within the security industry or a related sector.
- Proven experience in AV system design, including proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software.
- Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, signal flow, and integration.
- Familiarity with AV industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
